Bummed

So, we didn't go to D.C. We are totally bummed. We'd been looking forward to this trip for at least six months, so it is crazy that is comes down to the two days before and we have to cancel it.

Bryan has been working late every night dealing with the "issue" and he'll be in Melbourne, Fla. for three days next week at the store where it all got out of control (I don't really know the details of what happened other than some store was ripping off a bunch of customers, it all came out so the customers that were overcharged are ticked and the ones who weren't are trying to take advantage of the situation and claim they also got ripped off, and Bryan got put in charge of making everyone happy while at the same time saving as much $$ for the company as possible).

So now, instead of visiting that national monuments, touring the White House and Capitol Building, exploring Georgetown and Mount Vernon and eating at fun restaurants, I'll be at home -- alone. I hate that. Oh well.

AH MAN! I know you already told me about this- but that does TOTALLY stink!Maybe there will be another fun one planned sometime in the near future... hopefully. AND kudos to Bryan for persevering through such a mess! He'll learn a lot of good skills though, I'm sure. Seems like the situation could eventually benefit his work experience- it's always a part of the business world to have to keep everyone happy and save the company $$$ at the same time, eh? GOOD LUCK to Bryan- hopefully it will be behind him (and the company) soon!

How depressing. I'm sorry you didn't get to go on your trip. I hate getting my hopes dashed. And to add stressful work on top of that...no fun. I hope you get a trip in the near future. It was fun to read your tag. That's a fun one.

Bummer!! Sorry to hear about your trip. I know I REALLY look forward to getting out and going on anywhere. Hopefully you can have a makeup one sometime soon.

Are you looking for a house?

That is way too bad! Will there be another D.C. trip soon or until next year?
Either way, I will have to agree with Sarah and that all will go well with Bryan! I would hate to be the one to try to make EVERYONE happy and at the same time save money for the company! Most men are good at doing those two things! Good luck Bryan--he will learn from this experience!
What are you and El planning to do with your time together?

Man that totally stinks. I'm sorry! Nolan and I are always planning things conditional with his job now and it's so frustrating when they don't work out. This is even worse because you've had it in your head for 6 months, and Bryan left anyway. I hope you have something exciting happen this week for you!
Ps- I can't decide if we're going to dress grace up. We still haven't gotten costumes yet. I am hoping I will find some good ones in Boise next week. There isn't much shopping here.We love and miss you tons!
