Spring Fun!

Now that summer is here I think I better get my spring blogging wrapped up before it is too late. We had a really fun spring.

We spent a weekend at their house and got to see our niece Saveyah play soccer (she was so cute...running and smiling all the time), visit a strawberry patch (I think that is my dream job to own a fun little you-pick fruit patch where your kids could play outside all day and the family can work together) and go to the Yalaha bakery (the same German bakery that we went to last year). It was a really fun day.

There is live music and grilled brats at the bakery on Saturdays, which is really fun/chill. The kids were excited to get up front and watch the band.

This German woman used to own the bakery. She still is there all the time and sings a solo if Edelweiss each Saturday. Her looks and they way she walk reminds me of my Grandma Jolley (also how she dances -alone or with her dog- to the music, it seems without a care). Shay and I were saying that if our Grandma had been raised in Germany she probably would have been so much like this woman.

The strawberry patch had a playground and zip line for the kids to play on. It was such a classic spring/summer day.

Enjoying our fresh strawberry milkshakes.

Couldn't keep those yummy red strawberries out of Eleanore's mouth. Before this I couldn't get her to eat them, now they are one of her favorites.

YUM! I love strawberries, and so does Milly!! I would love to go to patch and pick fresh ones!! Florida is the best, you never find stuff like that here... Or maybe you guys are just the cool ones that find that kinda stuff....hmmm :)

That family shot with the strawberries is awesome. I'm glad you could have fun together some more. Such great pictures. That's a cute story about your Grandma being like that German lady.

I saw this post on Shay's blog & thought that was the coolest thing ever! We need to find a u pick patch... I wonder if anyone does that here? But then again, I wouldn't know what to do after I picked!! Just the thought of it sounds like it came straight from a storybook... very classic, cliche. How fun.

Fun times for your family. Love that you picked your own strawberries, I have been meaning to that, but then it just seems easier to grab them at the store.... maybe one of these days. :)
The park pictures are really cute too. Eleanore is lucky to have her fun cousins around to play with.
