On Wednesday we spent the day in kitchen making pies for a Relief Society social. Everyone is was so well behaved and I actually had a lot of fun baking the day away. I've never been a fan of pie crust, but I've read a lot on how to make a good one and I think I'm learning how to make the perfect crust. I was super happy with how the peach pie turned out. Eleanore was an awesome kitchen assistant!
Besides peach pie, we made a Tollhouse chocolate chip cookie pie and mini pies, a pumpkin cheesecake pie and a pecan pie. I think we're ready for Thanksgiving. :)

YUMMY! You were a busy busy girl. Can't wait for Thanksgiving... we'll have to have you make us a pie. :)
YUMMM! I am so not a baker...well a cook really at all. Great job!
WOAH!!! Those look AWESEOME! You are such a domestic mama nowadays. I'm going to have to call for some serious recipe time. And by the way... you look so AMAZING. I can't believe you are the mama of 3 little ones... I'm looking that plan up again right now.
Emily, are we invited for Thanksgiving?!? Lame question, I know. Goodness lady, you were one busy baker!
Also, you look GREAT, seriously though, when don't you?!?
Keep posting the things that bring joy and especially a BIG smile to you and your family.
Nice work Em! They all look fantastic. You are amazing.
YUM! I wish you lived closer so we could get together and do all this fun stuff you are posting about. Everything looks so delicious and fun.
Thanks for posting about those wreaths too. I am totally going to try them out. They turned out so cute!
Wow! They all look amazing!! Feel free to make that Tollhouse one again for any reason at all and I'll help you eat it!! That's the only kind of pie I'll eat =)
Um that sounds delicious. You are such an awesome cook! You might need to post those recipes. YUM, love the pictures!
Holy baking! Not sure I've ever baked that much stuff at one time in my life, what possessed you? Obligation or just kind motivation? That simply is a sight to see! To do that alone with 3 little ones in the house is quite a feat. The more time goes on I keep learning about all the more hidden talents you have-- even as well as I should know you already. Hmmm, why doesn't any of it rub off on me?
Your pies all look so good.
Okay, once I get down to my goal weight, then you can make me a tollhouse pie...LOL Aren't YOU lucky!?
