A long week

This last week has been long, to say the least. It all started a week ago Sunday when we were at dinner at a friend's house. All of the sudden I was having horrible chest and back pain (I'd had back pain for a while, but had chalked it up to holding the baby too much). We had to excuse ourselves and come home. Monday morning I went to the doctor and they did several tests, when the results came back Wednesday I was told to go directly to the hospital to have my gallbladder removed (it had to be done right away because the gall stones that had developed were preventing my liver from functioning correctly).

So, I spent my first night away from my baby (I thought I would be on a cruise or something for that milestone). It was a hard night for me, and I think for Bryan who was left to deal with Eleanore and giving her a bottle for the first time. She did well though and so did he. Bryan is an awesome husband and Dad -- I am so lucky to have him. He took good care of both of us all week. Now, I'm just waiting for the doctor to take my staples out on Friday and hopefully life will get back to normal.

On a brighter note, I just picked up these photos from Pennies. We had them taken when Bryan's parents were out here...aren't they sweet?

Those pictures are so cute. I love her blessing dress. I sure hope that you do feel better once they take the staples out. What an ordeal. We've been thinking of you tons, and thanks for emailing that format. No word still from any companies including Florida, so we'll see? Have a good rest of the week, I hope everything is okay with Bryan being back at work.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better! Those pictures are very cute. I can't believe how much Rob's kids are changing! Jake's going to be a little heart breaker! Makes me miss you guys even more seeing such cute pictures.
