Growing right before my eyes

It seems every day that Eleanore is making a new milestone. She is now moving like a wild baby (still doing the army crawl, but she has got it down) around the house following me from room to room, and sitting at my feet while I make dinner or do the dishes saying "mom-mom." When she hears the door beep (the alarm) at the end of the day she perks up immediately and knows that is the sound that means "da-da" is home. I have to keep the floor vacuumed, or else this little monkey will vacuum it for me -- she spots all the little stuff (I guess she has the best view, about two inches from the floor). Also, she likes to make friends -- from a distance that is. Everywhere we go she smiles, claps and waves at everyone she sees. Especially at Church, I think she thinks everyone comes there to see her. She keeps whoever is sitting behind us entertained, but she still doesn't like it if someone else (besides Bryan) tries to hold her (which is just fine with me...I like to keep her close by!). She growls like a bear when she is after something she wants, which includes some inopportune moments (like in the middle of a baptism last Sunday).

The days of putting Eleanore down and coming back to find her in the same place are gone. It's time to lower the crib -- this week I came in to find her standing in her crib with a very proud smile on her face. She is growing so fast it is kind of sad -- but really we are having more fun all the time. Man, this little girl makes us so happy!

Check out her four (yes FOUR) little chompers.

You know while I was reading your post and looking at the new pictures of her...I was thinking to myself that there was something different about Eleanore. I see hair and it is pretty dark too! She is growing and Tim also mentioned that she has changed! What a happy, smiley girl! Her personality is adorable too! I loved reading about the new things she has bee doing lately.
I have been trying to post the things Gabe has been up to and I just haven't finished it yet!
These times are some much fun to look back at, before you know it she will be doing new things!
