A new set of wheels!

We hooked Eleanore up with a new tricycle this weekend and it was an instant hit. It was actually pretty funny, we picked it up on the way home from Key Largo (we got it off Craigslist from someone in Bonita about an hour from our house so Eleanore had already sat in her carseat for about three hours -- doing incredibly well, I should say). Since the back of the car was full of luggage/beach stuff/pack n' play/a bunch of other stuff we don't really need for a two-night stay, we had to put the trike in the passenger seat next to Eleanore, so she could easily see it. The whole way home she kept pointing at it and saying "me." Then Bryan put her toy monkey on the seat so it looked like the monkey was riding the bike and Elsy got a kick out of that.

Once we got home Bryan had to attach the seatbelt. He was working on that in the garage and she sat down beside him and wanted to help -- she could hardly wait to try it out. We kept saying "don't you want to play for a few minutes while Dad does this?" (she had already sat for so long we thought she'd want to run), but she didn't...she just wanted to watch.

She can't reach the petals yet, but she doesn't know the difference. We just seatbelt her onto the thing and Daddy pushes her along. If you ask me, that is the way to roll!

That looks like a great tricycle. I love the handle so you don't have to hunch over to push her around. Pretty cool.

That's a really great picture of Elenore and Bryan! This last weekend we bought a bike for Thomas on Cragislist. We're twinnos, but he doesn't get the whole peddling thing yet. Oh and I didn't say it before but I love the picture of you guys sitting in the water. Looks like you are the only ones there! So nice. I would definitely want to go to a reunion there.

How fun! That is great that you can lock the handle bars, ours didn't so we would have to pop a wheely with them in order to 'drive' it. She's such a cutie, I love her little dances and giggle.
