Today's ultrasound confirmed that we're expecting two more little girls! Both Bryan and I are thrilled by the news, as is Eleanore who has been insistent that we are having "sisters" (I'm not sure if she knows what that means).
The doctor said she couldn't ask for a better report at this point in the pregnancy (as far as measurements, development and etc. go). I was relieved by this remark because I, for a multitude of reasons, have been extra nervous during this pregnancy and have even been dreaming of all the things that could be going wrong. We are so pleased to be assured that we have two healthy girls on their way to our family.
Seeing our baby's on the ultrasound screen now that they actually look human, have distinct features, arms and legs to kick and move (they both appeared to be very active) and knowing their gender makes this all seem much more real. We're excited, and today we feel a sweet joy and responsibility to know that Heavenly Father is entrusting two more of his precious daughters into our care. I can't wait to meet them (really I can...I'm not asking for an early delivery)!

I couldn't be more thrilled. It was great talking to you on the phone the other day, and it's so awesome to see the ultrasound pictures. I always love seeing them at 20 weeks. Not so alienlike as they are earlier. Oh they will be so beautiful. Just like their mom and big sis!
Congratulations. You can never have too many sisters. What a miracle!
