Peaches

Its that time again.  I can't believe it has been a year since we canned peaches, but my pantry shows the evidence...we were down to our very last bottle. So Wednesday we did it again...I botttled 33 quarts of peaches and I think I'll go get some more to freeze and make some peach jam.

There is just something about Mason jars sitting on my counter that makes me feel connected to the pioneer women I admire so much....you know, trying to store and prepare the best and healthiest food I can for my family. I know there are lots of ways of doing this, but I actually enjoy this and it makes me feel domesticated.

Those look so yummy! That's cool you have achieved this twice already! I should get with the program.
