Happy Birthday Emily!

A wish for you on your Birthday


To Emily:

I am not a writer by any means, but the words you're about to read will show you that you are everything to me. From the moment I met you “Miss Toy” you took my breath away. When I saw in you the back seat of your friend's car, driving down the road—my heart thumped strongly deep into my soul. I knew without a shadow of doubt you were someone special, and at that time I cannot fib, I could imagine my life with you and how great it would be. You were nice to me and invited me to your 4th of July party, and as our fate would have it I took you up on your offer and now here we are twelve years later. So a wish I have for my beautiful wife who is celebrating her 28 years of life (this is a selfish wish of mine which is) that I can spend the rest of your years by your side, each one of them, one at a time. For someone who has been through so many ups and downs, a wish I have for you on your birthday is that I make you have more smiles than frowns. Another wish is for you to have what it is that you’ve wanted to have all your life comes true, because you have given me everything I have wished for in a companion, mother (of our children) and best friend. You are the life and heart of our daughters, they love you unconditionally. They hang on you, crawl and run to you and grasp your shirt, ear rings, ears, skin and pants (anything they can) as tight as they can, because they feel safe knowing that you will take care of them and give them their wishes at hand. You think of others first and that is what makes you so special, God surely loves you because you are a beautiful, faithful loving daughter. My wish in life has already come true, and that wish came when I met you. I love you the most, thank you for “choosing me”. I am the luckiest man in the world and there is no doubt about it. My wish for you on your birthday is for you to know, without question or doubt, that I love you, I need you and adore you! Thank you for being such a great woman and an example to me. And to all who read this, if you read our blog, you will notice everything nice Emily has to say is either about me, her children, her family and her friends and really never mentioning herself. So I hope this is not to embarrassing for you Emily, but I want you to know that you are the one who should have a blog written specifically after you and all you do, because you are great. Thank you very much for all you do and my final wish is that everything you need, can and will come true.
