Disneyworld

For our eighth wedding anniversary on May 10th we decided to spend the day with our girls at Disneyworld (we had a day left on our passes that had to be used by May 16). We went up the night before and went to Downtown Disney to walk around and then had dinner at the T-Rex restaurant.

All the girls love Daddy, but Maya has a special place for him. Sure just loves her Dad more than anyone or anything.

Everyone is Dad's friend when he has French fries.
The next morning we headed over to the Magic Kingdom. Since Toon Town is under renovation all the characters where right near the entrance, which was a good place to start. We got to meet Aurora, Belle  and Cinderella again. I think it might be the real Belle because it was the exact same Princess we met in December when we were there. What a job those Princesses have: smiling, hugging and making small talk with little girls all day.

We happened to catch a Dancing Street Parade and Eleanore was thrilled to dance along side Goofy, but couldn't understand why he wasn't talking to her.

El was thrilled when Mickey blew a kiss right back at her.

Eleanore drove the race car all by herself. Bryan said he didn't touch the steering wheel once.

We all went on the tea cups, Dumbo, the Magic Carpets, Peter Pan, The Hall of Presidents, the carousel, It's a Small World, Buzz Lightyear, the Monsters Laugh Floor, Pirates of the Caribbean...we got on pretty much everything we wanted to. The only disappointment was that Eleanore was about 1/4 inch too short for  Splash Mountain. I'm sure she will be big enough next year. The girls all loved the carousel so we did it over and over. It was hot, but a great time to go because the lines weren't bad for anything.

On It's a  Small World...my favorite attraction.
While waiting to meet Mary Poppins we spotted this little bird that wasn't afraid of people at all.

This may be the real Mary Poppins. El put  her to the test and asked her if she could say Supecalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards and she did it with no problem at all. :)

Who is this character?
And we wore them out!
It was a really fun way to spend our anniversary, together as a family. I just love Disneyworld and how happy it makes my little girls -- we are lucky to live so close and be able to go somewhat frequently.

I love the french braids on Eleanore. What a fun-filled day!

How fun! I don't think kids are ever too young to take to Disney World! I can't wait for us to take a trip sometime to Disney Land(it's a little closer)!
